A little pond

Very quiet,

Reflecting the sun,

Muted sometimes

Or often bright,

Depending on the light,

A tiny pool

An azure sky,

And baby trees,

Standing inverted

In its green-grey

Rippling waters,

A great terrestrial

Turner

Painting,

Tucked away

From the manic highway,

Vivid,

Soothing,

And

Very much

Alive!
